The Gazebo is a favorite Salado and Central Texas bed and breakfast destination for the couple looking for a few days of relaxation in a laid-back but elegant setting. The Gazebo is a preferred Salado bed and breakfast for Central Texas honeymoons, anniversaries and special occasions in the Waco - Austin Texas area. The Gazebo is located in the heart of the Salado historic district.

The Gazebo Suite was originally built as an open air gazebo. The Gazebo became a Salado landmark setting for visitors to spend quiet moments regarding the natural beauty of the spring-fed waters of Salado Creek and the little village that sprang up on its banks. Recently reconstructed, The Gazebo Bed and Breakfast continues to have one of the most enchanting views into Salado's past and present.

The Gazebo overlooks Salado Creek in the center of the historic Salado shopping and dining district. The Gazebo is on Main Street Salado and within walking distance to Salado restaurants, shops and art galleries. The suite is only minutes from Mill Creek Golf Course, one of Central Texas' premier golf courses in the Waco - Austin area. Gazebo Amenities
The Gazebo is a suite that includes kitchen, bedroom (king bed), Cable TV and bath. Your private deck overlooks our gardens and historic Salado Creek. The kitchen is equipped with full-size refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker.

Breakfast includes breakfast breads, pastries, coffee, hot tea, cocoa, fruit juice, milk and a selection of breakfast cereals. Breakfast is set up prior to your arrival for you to enjoy the next morning at your leisure.

Important Guest Information

Full payment is required at the time of reservation. To receive a refund of advance payment, cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance of date reserved.

CHECK IN  is anytime after 3:00 pm.
CHECK OUT  is before 12:00 noon.

The Gazebo is a non-smoking facility. Comfy chairs and benches in our deck, porch and garden areas are provided for our friends who smoke.

Daily Rate is subject to 13% State/Local Hotel Tax

GIFT CERTIFICATES are available.

We do not accommodate pets. We do not accomodate children under the age of 17.

If contact with the outside world is a must during your stay, please bring your cellular phone. There is no telephone in this laid-back getaway.

Driving Directions to the Gazebo Bed and Breakfast Suite
From North or South IH 35: THERE ARE 3 SALADO EXITS. Take Salado Exit 284 - You will see an EXXON Building.. From the EXXON go two blocks east to Main Street. Take a right at the First State Bank and go one block south.

Our building, marked by our sign, Shops and Lodging at Old Mill is on your left directly across from the Salado Baptist Church. If you continue south across the Salado Creek bridge, you have gone too far.

Gazebo guests may park in front of our show window on Main Street and enter up the flagstone sidewalk to the right to the Gazebo. The porch lights will be on for you and a "Welcome" letter will be on the door of the suite. Your personal code will be programmed into the keyless entry. The suite will be ready for your arrival after 3:00 pm.
